1. Apple Cider Vinegar
Apple cider vinegar is one of the essential natural products to have in your home. Make sure you buy the real apple cider vinegar that contains the “mother,” which is the cloudy material floating at the bottom of the bottle. The mother contains all the healthy, enzymes and minerals that make this product work so well.
Apple cider vinegar contains malic acid, which gives it its antiviral, antibacterial and antifungal properties. Curing acne, it contains alpha-hydroxy and acetic acids that minimize pores and get rid of dead skin cells.
Because the vinegar is so strong, combine one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar with two cups of water. Using a cotton ball, drab into the liquid and apply over a clean, dry face. Don’t wash to let the natural acids trigger circulation. It may sting blemish at first, but use ever morning to clean bacteria and balance pH levels due to oily or dry skin.
2. Homemade Honey Facial Mask

Depending on if you have dry, oil, or sensitive skin, you can combine different ingredients to make a homemade honey facial mask—just make sure you use organic products. Add lemon to your honey mask, which will cleanse the skin or yogurt that will make it soft. Combine 2 tbsp. of milk (optional), 2 tbsp. of honey, 2 tbsp. of yogurt, lemon juice and warm water into a bowl and layer on three to four times a week.
3. Tea Tree Oil
As an alternative to benzoyl peroxide, health experts suggest using tea tree oil to cure acne. The essential oil is extracted from the leaves of an Australian plant, and has antibacterial properties to cleanse skin. Studies found that daily use of tea tree oil was as effective as benzoyl peroxide and had less side effects. It’s important to note that it may take longer to see results. Mix the oil with water to reduce irritation.
